Care Instructions:

To maintain softness, breathability, and longevity, regular cleaning is essential:

• For frequent use (2–3 times per week): wash approximately every two weeks.

• If heavily soaked with sweat, wash immediately after use to prevent damage from ammonia.

• Only use when completely dry — consider alternating between multiple covers if used daily.

Washing Steps:

1. Machine wash at 30 °C (regular spin cycle).

2. Use the “extra water” setting or add 3–4 L of water after 10 minutes.

3. Use Mattes MELP Special Detergent — formulated to care for both leather and wool.

4. Do not use fabric softener or bleach.

5. Do not overload the washing machine.

Drying:

• Remove immediately after washing.

• Tumble dry at low temperature (max 30 °C) or air dry in the shade.

• Avoid direct heat or sunlight.

Storage:

• Store in a dry, shaded place, never in plastic bags.

• Wash and dry thoroughly before long-term storage.

• Use moth protection if storing for extended periods.
