Acavallo Memory Foam Withers Free Hexagonal Gel Rear Riser Half Pad - The new Withers Free Hexagonal Gel & Back Riser Pad by Acavallo, with a maximum thickness of 27 mm in its hind area, is an ideal solution for compensating deficiencies in the saddle fit and for providing targeted, additional padding. This outstanding pad by Acavallo with an integrated back riser combines the non-slip, shock-proof and breathable properties of the Hexagonal Gel Pads by Acavallo with a memory foam cushion covered by micropile. The integrated back riser makes it suitable for those who require lifting of the hind part of the saddle.
Because of its hexagonal gel structure, the air is compressed within the cells of this non-slip pad and is expelled as the horse moves to create a cushion under the saddle. The central part of the pad was designed to be thinner, allowing it to better adapt to the withers and to the back of the horse, thus guaranteeing more space between the saddle and the gel to allow continuous air circulation. The technical characteristics of the memory foam allow the pad to adapt and shape itself deeply to the silhouette of the horse, whilst allowing the surface pressure to be distributed evenly over a large area. In addition to these features, the pad is able to absorb shocks, dampen vibrations and regulate the horse’s body temperature.
The Acavallo® Classic Gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and does not react negatively in contact with the skin, characteristics that allow the pad to be used directly in contact with it.
